Ramgarh, a heritage hotel which is in a class of

The Fort Ramgarh resonates with a glorious
350-year history. Its rulers were Chandel Rajputs
who came to the plains from Bilaspur in Himachal
Pradesh. They were descendants of Chandel dynasty
whose expire extended over the entire Central
India from 800 to 1182 A.D.
Rajput
history and architecture are your constant
companions during the stay in this unique hotel,
the first and perhaps the only one in the region
which is purely vegetarian and serves only
non-alcoholic drinks.
Location
The
Fort Ramgarh is conveniently located on National
Highway 73 connecting New Delhi with Panchkula and
Chandigarh. It is located opposite Sector 28,
Panchkula (Haryana) and only 17 Kms from
Chandigarh and is ideally situated on the way to
the hill stations of Shimla and Kulu Manali. The
nearest airport is Chandigarh (10 Km).

nine-foot thick walls, overlooking a cosy lawn and
a typically Indian courtyard have intricate
frescos hand painted on their ceilings.Well–appointed
